Which is why I was asking if anyone has any new information. 1.5 years ago is like 10 years ago, considering the CRIA are in court with this issue on a regular basis.

Actually yes.
There are some artists that APPROVE of their live performances being taped and shared as long as it is distributed FREELY. Archive.org is a site that shares LEGAL music and is approved on an individual basis, by the artists themselves.
