Sharp 37" LCD HDTV $650 BestBuy
http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...gon=&langid=EN
Picked one up for a gift. Deinterlacing from shaw leaves much to be desired but, otherwise pretty pleasant set.

We picked one of these this evening for our bedroom, so far, it seems pretty decent for the price.

Flat screens have really come down in price. If only the HDTV broadcasters could now provide a quality television stream...

i have an older (last yr) model of this 37" aquos. i am pleased with it on SD but i am frustrated and confused that whenever i hook up the antenna for OTA hd, the option on the tv wouldnt let me access it.
so hook up the antenna and unfortunately this model only has one coaxial input (sucks ass)...cheaper tv like daytek has 2...anyways after connecting it i pressed...
menu (on control) > setup > antenna - setup = not able to access it.
anyone know/have an idea what i am talking about? please help.
side not: yes, hd box is $100 nowadays...i have my reasons....that part ^^^^^ annoys the hell out of me. i want to know what i am not doing right...

nice price for a 37" LCD. Sharp still one of the most acclaimed TV producers, and after teamed with Sony, expect much better tv, esp for 10th generation large screens.

Eyeman, isn't this the second time you posted about this tv getting awful reviews? I'm the type that would much rather buy the product myself and judge it than listen to other's horror stories about it.. I've yet to see a problem with it.

Bought it last night. Love it so far as a computer monitor. Can't wait to finally see it in HD this Friday when I fire up Gears of War 2 on it
