Sharp Aquos 42" $1248.00

Just picked up a Sharp Aquos Model # LC-42D64U for $1248.00 and am not very familiar with the sharp brand. Just wondering if this is a good deal and if it is how is Sharp at making LCD's.

Check it for banding issues. If it's fine jump up and down with joy because it's an awesome tv. I got the 37 inch 62u for $1259.99 end of October at FF's Friends and Family Event. All through the sale and boxing day it only went down to $1299.99. So I think you did really well for the 42 inch.
