Use a ceramic knife sharpening block (whetstone) instead. One that is 5000 grit or so.

Sharpening fax machine thermal paper cutter
Can a person use fine grain sand paper to sharpen the blade on a thermal paper fax machine? Am looking for other suggestions tot sharpen the blade.
