I am an existing customer of 1 week on the $60/month 2-year deal. But no lucky getting Royalty to switch to this deal. The Royalty rep didn't even know about this deal :(

Before I send off a PM hoping to get in on this, can anyone else confirm they were able to get the bill credit if they weren't switching from a competitor? I'm on Shaw currently, but would just have my lady sign up in her name and then I'd cancel my existing account.

Not sure how it will work. If I order online they might cancel my other bundle?

I am trying to match the same offer with Telus. I talked to them on chat but they refused to match the offer. In the end scheduled a call with their loyalty department. Will post here how it went after the call.

Each rep I spoke with continues to say that Telus Internet is superior and offers 300 download and upload. $110 per month is the offer and insisted that it is worth more than double the cost over Shaw.

Whoever you spoke to is correct, Telus' simultaneous download and upload at 300 is superior to Shaw's 300 down and 15 up. However you have to ask yourself if the upload is worth $110 vs $45. For some it is, but for most it definitely is not.

Telus is way better but cost a lot if the promo is over.

You can always switch to shaw and back to Telus to get their "new customer" promos.

Sad that I'm only ~5 months into my contract at $60/month. $45/month sounds far better! Doesn't seem like there is anything I can do about it?
