Oh this interesting...I tried getting the 45/300 deal last month but because they couldn't install before End of Day today they offered $70/600 + 250 credits locked in for 2 years...this is even better and Im not supposed to get install until Sunday. Is it possible to get this one now? Is this also locked in for 2 years?

Sounds like Shaw is really trying to cook their books...when is their fiscal year end Mar 31?

I got that internet 300 is more then enough. I download a 4k 8gb movie for under 3 mins. Even faster than my 3.0 USB transfer speed.

nope, not noticeable, vast majority of resources on web cant give you traffic on those speeds unless you download with multiple streams or pump torrents. i got 300m and i see pretty much 0 speed or latency improvement with my daily webpages over 80m i had. avg bitrate for 4k is 40-50 mbit so unless u have 10 TVs streaming 4k u dont need it, 300m is more than enough for today.

You would notice the difference if you are doing activities like cloud services. Especially large file copies/moves. Unfortunately the upload is still only at a very limited 20 Mbps, the same as Internet 300 so you won't get the performance that you get with Telus who provides the same upload and download speeds.

Technically, it is always best to go Telus if you have the choice for the same or similar price. Then you would see a noticeable difference between 300 and 600 on more activities.

It's most noticable when multiple individuals are accessing the internet at the same time. For example, mom - streaming music, dad - watching Netflix, kid - gaming and other kid - watching YouTube.

You can negotiate to give you the $60 600mb
You’re in the 10 days where you can just cancel the previous agreement without penalties/fees
