Just signed up. Talked to one rep that was saying 96/month x 1 yr then 138/month 2nd year on 150 + basic tv + home phone with long distance.

Called back to confirm an appt time and a 2nd rep couldn't find the info from the first phone call. I didn't tell her the deal just what I was looking for and the offer she was giving me was 104/month, no contract...call back for a different rep if not a good deal.

I am looking for mobile internet with unlimited data. Is it exists?
Does home internet need landline? or cable connection? Anyone renting place in a house can get hassle free internet like prepaid setup with no strings attached?

If anyone can confirm, it seems like it will cost me $240 to cancel ($20 per month remaining) and then I can switch over to the Student Plan here.

I also heard that because I am no longer in the Value Plan, I will have to pay a $25 per month rental fee for the PVR?

Thanks.

It’s $15 per month to cancel

Moving to a new place next month, going to need internet and TV. What's the best offer out there right now for new customers? Anyone have any thoughts? Shaw Reps please comment as well. Thanks.

My Novus promo plan expires next month and I'm looking to make the switch, I'm wondering if it's worth getting TV too or if i should just stick with my OptikTV.

The Internet 75 for $50 deal is unadvertised, same as the Internet 150 for $60 deal in OP. They are different tiers of the same promotion. Talk on live chat or phone them and they'll set you up no questions asked.

Currently with TELUS PIreFibre 150/150 month to month. Moving to an area that isn't serviced by Fibre and max they can provide is 75/10. They are throwing me a deal to keep me as a long time customer.

Anyone know what's the best Shaw can do for WideOpen 150 besides $60/month (no contract) and $50 credit for ordering online? Any additional perks for moving over from TELUS? If I do self install do I get the latest modem / router?

$20/month cancellation penalty if your contract includes TV.

Telus raised their cancellation penalty too. They used to be only $10/month for internet, nothing for TV. I guess the solution to increasing customer dissatisfaction is to raise the price of leaving for both companies.

I talked with Shaw on their Chat. Says best they can do is Internet 75 for $55 a month for 12 months no contract. And also says need $100 install fee up front? Is this normal? I declined the offer and want to make sure I'm not getting ripped.
