Hey I just tried getting 150 for 60$ no contract and the rep said there is no such deal

is there a way to go about getting this or do I just have to keep trying over and over until a rep will do it?

My $77 for Internet 75 + Home phone + Small TV Pick 5 12 month promo is expiring. Called loyalty, they offered $117 for Internet 300 + Home phone + Small TV Pick 5.

Pretty weak sauce considering I'm very happy with the current Internet speed as it is. Any tips on getting a better deal? Or time to do the Telus switch.

Hi, Dean,

What's your best deal for Richmond, BC resident? 75/150/300, no contract or 2- year, internet only (or +TV). With Telus right now
Thank you very much.

I called in just yesterday and got $60 for internet 300 for 24 months with term + $250 credits. I just mentioned redflagdeals and they gave it to me lol.

The credits offset the contract considering its $180 to cancel after a year. Not having to call in next year is a bonus.

Just wondering, why would anyone go with Shaw when Telus offers symmetric high speed on both upload and download vs Shaw?

It seems dumb to pay a similar price for inferior technology unless Shaw really beats Telus on price. The only advantage I can see is Shaw wifi hotspot access.

Hi Dean,

I’m a current Shaw customer for about 10 years at my current location and I called them once before and they gave me a $10 discount. Currently I feel like my bill is getting too expensive for what I get.

I currently have basic cable $50, Cantonese tv pack $10, Fairchild II HD $5, high speed internet (15??; from wayyy back in the day) $73, home basic phone $40. The discounts are internet bundle discount $-2, home phone bundle $-10 and loyalty gesture $11.45.

Before taxes I pay $154.55.

I thought about switching to Telus before and maybe worth shopping around again. I’m currently in Richmond, BC.

Similar to above poster, we’ve been with Shaw for years on an outdated Internet 25 + Classic TV package for ~$155/month. Looking at this thread I realize we’ve been getting ripped off all this time so were going to switch to Telus but wondering first if there is any promotion at Shaw for existing customers?

My contract ends next month and I’m paying nearly $275 a month for Internet/Phone/TV.

I get an email to contact for a new contract and a deal. Reading these threads are infuriating, those telus prices are significantly cheaper

Did an online chat but the guy didn't offer anything. Phoned in and the wait is 35 minutes. I know they can call back but will try another day.

It depends on the user, I travel a lot around canada, and shaw hotspot and Freerange TV is beneficial to me.

Shaw is offering internet 300, 2 yr plan for $50/month for first 12months, $70/months for next 12 months plus $250 credit for online orders.

So basically 2year plan for $50/month for internet 300
