This is the deal you can normally get by calling the loyalty department. It looks like theyre making it official so you dont have be on hold for an hour.
You should still talk to retentions though if your doing an internet+tv bundle, can probably bump it down a few more dollars.

So for existing customers with a plan, do I just order this and everything'll be updated automatically?

I think you can do better by calling loyalty or customer care. I got 300mbps for $65 2 years.

What did you have to do to get that? I’m existing with a couple months on my existing contract and got Nadda.

New customers only? Do I need to cancel and switch to Telus for a bit first.

Did you get the $250 credits as well?

I was going to switch to Telus and they called for a winback offer.

I got $150 credit instead at the time.

I’m currently with Telus. I called retentions mentioning this deal and they gave me 150/150 for $50 a month for 2 years since they couldn’t match Shaw’s $250 credit up front. Pretty fair of them IMO.

Thanks op. I'll call retentions (is there a specific number?) My contract ended a couple months back so timing is right. Maybe jump to 300.

I talked to Shaw as an existing customer and they had no interest in giving me anything close to this deal. (My contract was also up in Feb.) The best they offered me was Internet 150 at $75 a month and $50 bill credit (2 year deal) and that was by talking to the loyalty staff.

Thanks. Hopefully the CRTC will force them to stop this nonsense. It just encourages frequent provider jumping and is inefficient.

I need to re-negotiations with Telus too. Can you provide more info of what your deal is?

Thanks for posting this!

I re-negotiated with them a month ago, and they were able to renew me for a year only at 50/mo. I called back again today, and they were only able to put it in my notes that I can renew again for the 150 for $50/mo so basically I have to call back in a year from now for them to apply the credit. I'm not sure if fearlessfx had a rep who was able to do so, but mine was done manually.

Called up Shaw today for the deal, was on hold over the course of 2 hours in different departments. Finally I was given the 300 on a two year contract for $75. Which is less than the Black Friday deal. And I’m an existing customer. Just pays to wait around in different departments.

Called Telus, asked to match Shaw, gave them the site. They matched it to $50 for 2 years, month to month, no contract, internet 150. Thanks OP!

Also called in to Shaw retention about Telus matching their deal. Got internet 300 for $60 a month for 2 years plus $150 bill credit. I'm a new customer to Shaw.

Do you just call in and ask to speak to the loyalty department or what do you do?
