does gas qualify as a participating product for option B?
e.g. can i just gas up $50 worth and get the 85 airmile points if i'm registered?
The 7 x bonus doesn't include gas. So you only get 50 AM.

Save 5¢ per litre on up to 100 L of fuel could be a better offer, as Airmiles cannot be redeemed to gc anymore

What is your guy's best recommendation for the air miles to be deposited? Cash back or miles?

Some do but they're hard to find. I haven't found any that sells Tim's gift cards in the Durham region to take advantage of the 7x promo. I was wondering if they got mostly phased out when Shell started promoting the Costa Coffee self-serve kiosks in their stations.

It seems that what gift cards are available varies from one Shell to another. Some people have said that they've bought Canadian Tire and grocery store gift cards at Shell. I've never seen any of those at my local Shell. Tim's is not one that I've seen either. However, Starbucks is available.

Cash miles 100% from what I have been reading. if you fly often, you could consider dream miles. otherwise, they will just sit and you never know when they'll get devalued.

That was my thought too but the two shells I tried had no tims cards.

damn. forgot about this promotion when I filled up 2 x 25L this morning though I was already getting 4 cents off a liter because of my AM account offer.

Do we have to deactivate the sms subscription? Or is it a one-time thing?

Edit:
Just sent the text messages and I can txt STOP anytime after the promotion.

Strange, for choice A, is that 5 cents off 100 L max, which means a total savings of $5?

I just chose B since there doesn't seem to be a limit on the AM to be earned. Hopefully I made the right choice.

There is a limit on the airmiles you can earn, it says on the offer page "Maximum 50 miles per collector number for this offer."

Damn. But thanks for posting that info.

Save $5 per AM account and yeah A is easier achieved unless one wants to buy a gift card at Shell.

a means save 5 dollars if you spends 110 dollars ( 4.5% profit supposed the gas 1.10 litre)
b means get 50 air miles if you spends 50 dollars ( 8.2% profit the airmiles worth 50/95*10=4.1 dollars)
which better ? obviously..
