I got some excellent news.

Fed-ex freight is $160cdn door to door for sea and $400 for air. So cheap

Duties and taxes aren't much of a concern.
Wow, that seems to be an amazing price.

I was expecting about $900 more for surface. However with this price I'm considering on getting a whole motorcycle (honda Rc30) crated and shipped.

I just might import two or three engines and flip them to pay for my one. My bike is very rare and parts just don't come up for sale often (or at all).

don't custom require special clearing for wood?
I just checked into this with customs today and along as the wood is treated then it's ok. Pretty much my importer said not to worry since it's another 15 pounds onto the price.

That's a great deal! Definitely bring more stuff to flip, fellow enthusiasts will lap it up and most can't be arsed with the legwork.

Wow that's awesome, do they pick up the crate directly from the supplier? I'm also importing a bunch of parts for my car, had to get my Opel OPC bumpers sent over from Germany via DHL for 180 Euros, and that was after months of pestering vendors on ebay UK and DE.

Still have more stuff I need to get, can FedEx freight do collection/pickup from sellers?
