At that price, 99% sure it would be the 1050.

Here is the deal for those interested. Buy the laptop and get 270000 ($270) points. Those points are worth $370 on a Super Spend Your Points Event which happens about once a month. That would be a great time to pick up a PS4/Switch/Xbox.

Careful with that 99% sure thing, I have been burned before with that lol.

It's a little more on Newegg with a 1050 Ti, maybe this one is a 1050 Ti as well, looks very similar. Let's hope it is at shoppers

20x points on a laptop that's already a good deal, wow.. Lol. Thank you for the heads up. I may actually buy this (pending if it's a 1050 Ti or not)

I love how the Shoppers flyer doesn't tell you shit about the laptops (no details on vid card, what generation of i5, display resolution, etc, etc).

Never my local Shoppers have laptop in stock.
Is there an easy way other then calling them to check stock please?

You used to be able to call their customer service line and have them check but the last time I tried they said I need to call around.

Call the stores, ask to speak with their inventory stock person. Directs you to the person that actually can check the stock they have. If you ask anyone else, they literally just look to see if it's within sight, if it isn't, "sorry we are sold out"... I have actually called them while in the store, just to test them lol. They sometimes just put you on hold and then serve customers, then a minute later "sorry we are sold out"

Any better a deal than waiting for one of those Ebates 10% off promos?

What would the point be if you have the PC MasterCard Promo? Would you get 20x the points plus like 11-13% by using the card? Just curious if it would work like that?

Just get the email addresses for your local stores, and send one email with them all CC'd. Then wait for them to reply. That's how I found my switch.

Not when many SSD Deals are popping up left and right, easy swap. Then just use this as a data drive.

I'm confused - the description for the Lenovo laptop on Amazon, "5400RPM Hard Drive + 256GB Solid State Drive"

https://www.amazon.ca/Lenovo-Legion-Y52 ... B06XWFCKYX

Excuse my ignorance as I am not well informed when it comes to laptop specs but I was under the impression a laptop with SSD is a relatively good option. Does having the 5400 rpm Hard Drive override the SSD capability/feature of the laptop?
