[Shoppers Drug Mart] Oral-B Genius 8000 toothbrush $170 YMMV

The Aurora Shopper’s has the Oral-B Genius 8000 on sale for $230 from $290 but with today’s 20x points event it drops the price to $170 before tax.

Walmart and Amazon have it on sale for $200 in it’s flyer this week, but SDM doesn’t pricematch.

My previous Oral-B 5000 toothbrush lasted 11 years before the battery gave out.

YMMV, not sure if other locations have this.

This version can be recharged via USB right? One of my biggest complaints about the Oral-B brushes is that I can't use them abroad due to the fact that it only works at 110v.

Buy them at your dental office, they have have to sell it at cost -- around $130-140 including taxes (and usually there's additional stuff, like free toothpaste, and mouthwash, etc... )

Why do they have to sell them at cost? My dentist never told me he sells these stuffs. He just tell me to go buy them at the stores.

Dentist are not allowed to mark up stuff like electric toothbrushes and white strips (that's if they carry them -- you know the stuff they just hand to you; now if they have to make whitening tray,s then there's a mark up on that because they had to do something).
