Thanks! But where is it written to send OFFERS1 to 736898 ?

On the page you linked, I only see text messages to send to stop receiving the texts.

1000 points = $1 ? Is this thread about getting free $1?

it's 1.25
yes, it's a thread about free points but also you get exclusive coupon through SMS that you won't get through the app. for example, the f&f 20% off the other week

Where would you text your Optimum card number? It does not ask to provide it in the text messages. How would they know where to credit the 1000 points?

$1.25 in points to sell your number to a company to be bombarded with advertising which will then resell it to other companies?
I know it's RFD but we can do better than that..

If you signed up for Shoppers Optimum (or most rewards programs actually), they already have your number as that’s part of the sign up process, although entering your home number instead of your mobile is an option.

Also like someone mentioned, you might get coupons for 20% off, which could translate to over $100 off if you got a PS4 Pro for example.

so far, for being sign through sms for 2 years, i haven't received any spam text. i've received more wrong number calls from neighbors (which i verified) than spam text
