[Shoppers Drug Mart] Presidents choice bacon 500g $1.67

Sdm has 500g presidents choice bacon on for $3.99.
20x the points gives a points reward of $1.32
I also had a 1000 points reward for each pack I purchased which gave an extra $1 in points. Noticed this in the transaction history after my points jumped higher than I was expecting. So $4 spent, $2.32 earned in points for a net of $1.67 per pack. After 4 packs the price goes up to $4.99 instead of 3.99, but still worth it to stock up.

Its great for the OP to find such a good deal but 2 conditions need to be reunited to get this deal, spend 50$ and having a personnalized offer. So Its not worth sharing it to the world.

A post on a bacon sale = upvote

500g bacon for $3.99 (regular price $4.99) = upvote

YMMV PC points blah blah blah = meh (just put "$3.99 or lower" in title instead)

Thanks OP! I am going to grab some (hopefully available) salt reduced (cuz I'm health conscious) PC bacon for $3.99 a pack :) Don't let the iron, sodium, fat, happiness deficient vegetarian hate bring you down ;)

Check the app you may find 7000 pts on $25 spend available today, so no need to spend up to $50 to get the 20x pionts

Perhaps my wording was off. I do not believe the 1000 pts on bacon was targeted just to me, as my wife had it on her app also. Perhaps it was regional? Not sure if anyone else went and tried.
Buying $50 of bacon was totally an option, however it would slightly raise the effective price from $1.67 per package to $2.10 per package, as per below:

First 4 packs @ $3.99
1 pack @ $3.99 nets $2.32 in points = $1.67/unit effective price
4 pack @ $15.96 nets $9.28 in points

Next 7 Packs
1 pack @ $4.99 nets 2.64 in points = $2.35/unit effective price
7 pack @ $34.93 spend net $18.48 in points

$50.89 spent
$27.76 accumulated in points (not factoring bonus redemption value)

$23.13 for 11x 500g packages of bacon (average price of 2.10 per package)

The 1000 point rewards looks YMMV, so basically $2.67 per if you can spend $50 on bacons

Just checked the app and no 1000 pts offer showing up for me
Regardless if you have this targeted offer, $2.67 ea pack of bacons still a decent price but it would depend on if you need to buy something else from SDM

Btw, I don’t understand why so many downvotes here
Doesn’t bacons regular usually like $5.99 a pack?

Apparently my instructions were not clear enough and people became confused, and very upset.

The deal has also likely ended.

DISCLAIMER:
I created a post on RFD.
When I created a post, the new post form asked me: "when does this deal expire?"
I told the new post form when this deal expires: this deal expires Sept 8 2019!
I don't see that the information I entered about the expiration (when creating a new post)
Sorry for long-long explanation. I Try no make your emotions go boom-boom.

Guess who's hoarding all the bacon next time it's $1.67 instead of making a post about it? This guy right here.

OP posted a deal that only they qualified for due to a personalized point offer that no one else has.

Also depending on the grade, I can get it for $3/500g. That stuff is pretty awful though.
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.
