If you are in the market for a budget level 60" TV and have the points saved up it's a pretty good deal.

Better off with a M series Vizio or TCL 6 series then a sub par “branded only in name” RCA but cheapest garbage components they can buy.

What he said ^
Use the points for groceries or other goods at shoppers. Save yourself some headaches and get this Vizio for the same price. Or technically 2 cents less.. That's my 2 cents.

Worst case panel is a Samsung one, there are deals to be had, dismissing them because of the brand name is a huge oversight, RCA doesn't make their TVs and their TVs are to be considered on a model by model bases, these are the same TVs as the Haier and IIRC the Seiki.

That said, SDM has the worst return policy when it comes to electronics hands down, most stores will stamp the receipt "final sale" right at checkout, so if you are going that way you need to clear the return policy with the store manager and have him/her write it on the back of your receipt, there is a good chance you might want an exchange if there is something wrong with the set out of the box or after few days of usage and if all sales are final you will only have one shot at this then you will be forced to deal with Curtis directly, which I don't recommend.

Agreed if you have the means to get a similar budget TV for around $500 from Costco of otherwise, you are getting a better TV and better warranty.

That said, some people might have a ton of Optimum points earned that they would rather use with this promo to get a TV, as opposed to an extra $300 that they might not have to spend.

Not to mention plenty of people on RFD have gotten crazy deals in the past to accrue many Optimum points, so a further bonus redemption event like this might make sense in that instance too.

Agree with others here... It seems a great deal $200 for a 60 inch but your still laying out $400 cash equivalent and for just $130 more you get a better brand and costcos 5 year extended warranty. (which is awesome! My parents tv died in year 4 and costco just wrote them a check for $1000 to go buy any new TV they choose, (a bigger, better model on sale of course) Smiling Face With Sunglasses

Canada,Eh!
My living room daily driver is a 60" 4K RCA TV...excellent.
My bedroom TV nightly driver is a 55" 4K RCA TV...excellent.
My Gaming/Sim Racing monitor in the VR/Gaming room is also a 55" 4K RCA TV...excellent.

My my my Winking Face...I must say that I'm REALLY happy with them for every form of media so far, and it's going on years now.

The performance to dollar ratio is outstanding.

I bought the 65" RCA last black Friday and I love it.

Just know RCA customer service is terrible and my 65" has one "red pixel" on the screen, very hard to see.

Probably will buy this 60" also.

How are there $300 of savings?
Isn't it $200 cash plus $200 worth of PC points = $400 for the purchase...

I may buy this, if I can find it, my anecdotal evidence on RCA is not good. I could not even get the one I bought to run 4k content.

I do think OP should change the savings. It's not $300 savings, but $100 as you have to use $200 worth of points.

If you have a 20x you could argue that your savings would be $100 bonus pts and $60 in points earned for 20x for a total of 160 saved. That puts TV at 340.
