[Shoppers Drug Mart] SDM Google Nest Hub $89.99 + 25k PCO Points (Dec 26 ONLY)

Just noticed in the SDM flyer for Boxing Day that they're offering the Nest Hub for $89.99, which matches what everyone else is offering it for.

They are also running a promo on Thursday where if you spend $75 pre-tax, you get 25k PCO Points. Since this is >$75, you'll get it.

For those of you who missed out on getting it from Staples using the $25 off $75 coupon, this is your next-best option assuming you're part of the PCO program.

Of course it's not as great because you're paying tax on $89.99 instead of $64.99, but it's still effectively cheaper than say buying one from Best Buy.

Don’t forget u can stack with the 20% off for seniors if you can get your total after 20% off if greater than 75. (And can find a senior to come with you)

Edit: apparently won’t work on sale items. So this is a no go

Need to be buy 2. Can you get the offer twice if done on 2 separate transactions? Fine print says max 25k pts per offer on single transaction

If not, create a second account. Takes 30 seconds.

Does anyone know if they have the hub max? After seeing my brother’s, I really want one.

20% off only works on regular-priced merchandise and is not applicable here.

I was out and about for other errands today. I stopped by 4 different shoppers drugmarts, some soon after opening. None of them even knew what the nest hub was. Sometimes I hate SDM.

I was mostly looking at cashing in some points, didn't even know about the bonus points. At least it's on sale for the same price the rest of the week... if I can find it anywhere.

I went to 1 store and called 3 stores. Finally the one at Highgate Burnaby had one left.

I don't know what it is with the Shoppers around the Coquitlam area, but their electronics/video game selection is always terrible.

Please do your math...

Normal 20X promotion is $2 better than this boxing deal ...

90*15*20 = 27000 points = $27

In summary:
- for item's price $90, 20x promotion will give $27 back
- for item's price $90, SDM boxing deal will only give $25 back
- only the item's price between $75 to $83 will get the benefit from this boxing deal.

What are these nests primarily used for?
Just curious, never heard of them before.

$89 is not the regular price. It's on sale (not sure by how much, exactly) plus the Optimum points.

OK, thanks for the explanation. I get it now. If this item is only on sale today, then jump on it. Actually I have 20x offer started tomorrow in my PCO app. But it might be YMMV.

I really wish SDM could have Nintendo Switch pro controller on sale this boxing day.
