Yeah I did this then.
Ahh. So your post has nothing to do with this thread and talks about a deal that expired 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for your contribution

Your reading comprehension failed you.

That other user asked me what sort of deal I got on fc 5 at Shoppers.

Please follow chain of conversation before jumping to conclusion.

Thank you.

Someone said Far Cry 5 was sold out everywhere, I said it was probably because they hadn't restocked from the last promo, and someone else asked what the promo was. It was an extension of a conversation around the deals in this thread, and you really didn't need to be an ******* about it.
My nick doesn't mean I'm happy any more than yours means you're a sex machine.

If you redeem for bonus points, do you still earn any points loaded on your card?
I can confirm that when I redeemed 80,000 pts, the loaded offers that were without $ amounts (eg. PC Honey, 1200 pts) were automatically redeemed and I got the 1200 pts. For those that had $ amounts (e.g NN Paper Towels, 600 for every $3 spent), I did not get the 600 pts. This is the way SDM has always worked, as I recall. Loblaws store are more generous with redemptions.

can i use my points for electronics systems or no
You mean audio system? Yes if you can find one. I've never seen anything good at SDM though.

LOL, it seems obligatory that people bring this up in every Shoppers discussion.

Let them be fooled by the price without points calculation. It just makes it easier for everyone else finding stock on deals.

Not too many deals this week since most items I might use are at regular price.

I notice quite a few rfders buying games with points. It’s not a bad deal so to speak but also remember 20% off is probably better since you also save the tax. They don’t happen often unless you know someone 50+ to help you out (every Thursday).

20% off means 60k points plus $2 and taxes for a $80 game. The key bring you pay less taxes since 20% is off the subtotal while 25% extra is taken off after taxes. Basically 5 + 80 worth of taxes vs 2 and 62 worth of taxes if you spend 60k points.

Do you automatically get the additional 25% points As soon as soon as you redeem more than 50,000 points?

I thought shoppers senior sale is for 65+? If it's 60 that'd be great as my dad visits me all the time :)

Yes. It’s precalculated on the cash register screen.

so, I've got about 400k points.
I want to pull the trigger on a PS4 PRO for god of war.
But, I'd be willing to wait to see if they get the bundled edition coming APR 20.
Any chance of a shoppers getting that (as some may know from history and bundles? )
Or should I just snag the ps4 pro with the nice 25% boost and buy god of war apr 20 ?
thanks for any input.
Oh, and I realize 20x points is a slightly better value. I actually have a coupon for WED.
However, I've been sitting on these points for 3-4 years.
So It's not such a big deal for me regarding the 20x.
(I also have a 6K coupon for spending $25 or more so there's already a nice offset to 20x)
