Shorcut - 1 CPU Core Affinity?
Is there a command to add to the shortcut of a program to only have it work on 1 CPU Core instead of having to manually goto the task manager?
Thanks

2 ways I know of...
1 - THG Task Assignment Manager - http://www.tomshardware.com/2004/05/...uck/index.html
2 - imagecfg.exe - which will write to the program to force it to use 1 cpu - http://www.robpol86.com/Pages/imagecfg.php

if ya got a athlon64 X2 or dual core Opteron then a optimization driver is probly the thing to install .. since I did so its changed how my pc handles those single cored programed games.

I'm on the Vista so it doesn't need it.
The only thing is that I'm playing NHL08 and since I do AI mods for it, I have to restart NHL every so often and replace files.
It's fine on one core, but if it's on default two cores, it skips, jumps and lags a lot.
I'll try that THG program, thanks.
