Bought a decent amount of BNS July calls this morning. Seems like a safe play at this price point.

Good morning!
Futures are trading slightly higher overnight, on track for 2765.
Large block trades at the close, and the equity put/call ratio is back to Jan lows.

Short ES @ 2757.5, 50% position.
Sold EURUSD longs @ 1.1775, daily 20EMA resistance.
Covered NG shorts @ 2.91, will restrike on a bounce.

CL may be setting up for a pop on inventories at 1030am, watching closely.

Cocoa is approaching 200DMA on oversold techs.
Planning to start a swing long position soon.

Tariffs are now beginning to trickle through at my place of employment, we're now trying to pass on the increased raw materials costs to our clients :S.

Hunker down if you're not nailed down to your long positions because this is going to SUCK when this begins to manifest into GDP and inventory #'s.

I am thinking Iran news could breathe new life into crude. Inventories are good for 40-50c move, usually.

edit: 65.55 /AUG is my resistance line. If crude take it out, we are going higher to 67.5 (based on previous decline/bounce levels)

bot TSLA @291.5 AH yesterday - as soon as CNBC mentioned TSLA hosting shareholder meeting. Usually, these events are bullish as Elon can promise whatever he wants...

sold GPS Jul 30P for $1 - need some positive deltas

PM new lows below 77, MO holding up better
this is one of those dividend plays that costs much more in capital than received income

MSFT P/E 56? no problem, keep buying... feels like ETFs are driving this market higher, not retail investors.

we're back to Jan 2018?
Everything only goes UP, daily. ATH everywhere
VIX is new low (feel bad for those who got wiped out in Feb volatility spike)

I read, on CNBC/Cramer though, this run is mostly Tech and consumer staples
Today it's rotation into financials, but still goes up

What trade war? who cares :P

you wanted to say Consumer Discretionary - XLY, not XLP - take a look at their charts

XLF is bouncing indeed, there is a level to watch - 27.22 - above is bullish

XRT is another "leader"

I could see why RUT is at ATH, but XRT or XLY puzzles me. Consumer bet late in the cycle when rates are rising...

Too much passive money imo. Many respected investors/traders feel that this will magnify volatility as the computers just chase in the direction of the trend.
But who is buying ETFs if not retail investors? I doubt institutions hold a major chunk.

Plan to add to my short position at 67-70.
