Should I Download Android 7.0 Nougat?

Should I download Android 7.0 Nougat for my Android phone? I'm concerned it my screw up my phone. Anyone think it's a good idea to download it? Anyone think it's not necessary?

My suggestion is "no" if you are happy with your phone. Once you have trouble, then do the update

Oh come on, stay on gingerbread and continue to live in a cave. These updates include security patches also. It is warped thinking like this that opened the door to the latest crypto malware proliferation.

I put it on my S6 last night and it seems to have made a huge improvement in battery life.

If they offer it for your phone, the hardware is adequate to handle it.

I like it and I can see myself using Marshmallow or Lollipop ever again.

for best results back up your stuff. install the update. then do a full factory reset.

give the battery a few days to settle after that. should be smooth sailing.

Don't if it is a Nexus Phone. Just search your model and nougat and you will know why.
