Should I go to Taste of the Danforth or T&T Night Market?

this is a tough choice... so I only have time to go to one food festival for one day this weekend. which one do you guys think I should go to that's better? Taste of the Danforth, or T&T Night Market?

i've been to both before but long time ago, and they're both pretty good although i kind of prefer oriental food more but the Taste also has that

Be aware there is no free parking for T&T this year as they moved the whole venue to the power station, and over there it is paid parking. It's so far from TnT they are hiring shuttle buses to take people to the event.

It's also going to rain Friday, and Saturday, so unless you plan to go Sunday, you might wind up going to neither event.

the organisers had planned to have vendors inside the power station, but the power station need to be updated to meet fire code so all the vendors will be outside.

Taste of the Danforth is too busy, gets taken over by teenagers in the evening like most Toronto street festivals.

As for the night market I'm not sure T&T is associated with it this year. Also it seems like its off to a rocky start: Reddit discussion

Did anyone go last night?

T&T is not associated with the 'Waterfront Night Market,' this night market is now 'Presented by Toronto area Ford dealers'

Taste of the Danforth sounds more interesting.

I went to the NM tonight. It was FAR.

I think this year's event was more disorganized than in the past. If you haven't been, it's worth a go, but if you have been already, I'd skip this year's.

Went to the night market as well, I found it overpriced and overcrowded. Maybe going to various food festivals over the years has jaded me, but I'm beginning to think that its just better to go to a restaurant rather than get the food festival "experience".

Went Yesterday, was pretty good. Crappy location though. Hawaiian hut was roasting a pig which was cool to see. Had spam musubi, bubble tea those octopus balls and skewers. They should go back to the old location like last year though.

Stayed at home and ordered Greek food instead. Nice and relaxing, no crowds to deal with.

WOULD SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!

T&T was not associated with the this years night market, they are distancing themselves from this event...
