Show us your backyard Garden gallery
I know the planting season is dying down now, and a lot of the garden is looking bare, but before you know it, spring will be here and we have to start doing it all over again.
Show us your garden, let's see what you have done with it, tell us what you plant to add to it, and what are your favourites trees, shrubs and plants?
Here is what I did this summer, got some plans for 2008, like finishing the pergola, patio, and the veggie garden

We did lots of stuff in our previous house, but that doesn't count anymore I guess

If you have pics of the previous house......then post it. Don't see why not mate

After 7 years, we have just outgrown our house & it was time for something larger. Plus it was only 3 bedrooms & we needed that extra room...plus I also wanted something new & now we are starting all over again with the projects

What are your thoughts on Patterned concrete over interlock?
Would you do patterned concrete again?

I really liked my Patterned Concrete but it was a bit slippery in the winter. But if you decide on it, don't just go with any company doing stamped concrete, because some are just awful in quality...trust me, I have seen some crappy jobs & that's why we chose the real 'Patterned Concrete'
It will cost you a bit more but well worth it! Best is to look at previous jobs, so you can see for yourself.
This time around I might try interlock, since never had it before...but we're still not at that stage unfortunately
One day...

What do you call this?

It looks discombobulated but simultaneously artsy. Is it like how some paintings just splash various colours on a canvas and call it art? I imagine the same process is involved in creating this look.

It's called random flagstone...that's how natural flagstone looks when you put it down. This is what came in the skid that we purchased. So if you don't like the natural random colours of flagstone, then you have to look for a different product like interlock or concrete.
Plus I do think it looks kind of artsy

It's the end of November. How do you keep your gardens looking like that?!?!
In my area, it's bare trees and fallen leaves everywhere.
How about some recent photos?

Those are pics of my previous house
My current house has only plain old grass covered with snow, nothing special...
