What is their typical price range for suits/tux?
You should contact them to give you a proper quote. Starts around $800 I believe.

Thanks. Is that typical in terms of pricing? I probably won't wear it much in the future (if I get a tux over a suit) but it seems counter intuitive when rentals are so expensive to begin with.

IMO, they do an excellent job and they could charge more for what you get. Suit Supply purple line is already around $600 with alterations. An extra $200 to get you a well made MTM.

I believe they still do removable tux lapels. My buddy got one done for his wedding. A navy suit with removable tux lapels.

Kevin, who owns King & Rook, was also the main guy who ran Moderation but he has since moved on and started his own thing.

Anybody have a recommendation for a place in Vancouver to get a custom rainjacket made? All the OTR ones are way too loose on me

Not in VCR, but tailorstore does this.

I had a good experience with them for a shirt order.
No hassle remake.
Got charged by DHL, DHL was a pain to deal with, but tailorstore took care of it.

If you're talking about trench coats, they're not supposed to be perfect fit like a suit. Hence why they have a belt.

What's my best bet for a 3 piece suit for under 500

I'm tall and skinny (40T)

Trouble with any short raincoat is your pants will get wet...

And short raincoats are for females.

I do have to say, the benefit of MTM is they leave a lot of fabric for adjustments.

I went from 38 to 42 in less than a year's time. Took my Samuelsohn MTM 3-piece back to HR and now I'm waiting to get it back.

Gary the MTM specialist at HR Yorkdale was very helpful, and didn't try to sell me a new suit right away.

Got the suit back and the fit is absolutely perfect!!!
How much did the Samuelsohn MTM at HR cost if you don't mind me asking? Looking to get a MTM suit done for my wedding and would prefer Canadian made rather than something shipped from China.
