I'd like to hear more about what you think it over priced at S&M. I myself find their offerings great value for money, especially the shirts.

As for tailoring cost, I used their tailoring and found them to be at par if not slightly less than my usual go-to alteration place.
Where do you go for alterations?

Magic Tailor.
They're pretty bad if you're looking to do more than just basic tailoring like shortening/lengthening sleeve, hemming pants, etc.

I have my wedding in August and will be looking to get my first decent suit within a budget of $1000-$1200. Do you guys know if I should be keeping an eye for sales from any of the main suit stores in the near future? I am hoping to get something M2M but it doesn't need to be. Thanks in advance!

I have 2 indochino suits - never again. Cheap fabric and poor construction. After light wear over 2 years they are in the good will donation pile in the basement now.

For work suits I recommend Spier and mackay if you are on a budget or Samuelsohn if you have a bit more to spend.

Samuelsohn - hands down. I have suits from both makers. I won't buy another Coppley suit again.
Can you explain?

Samuelsohn are al full canvass construction vs Coppley which manufacture some fused and half canvass construction.

Samuelsohn MTM program is more flexible with more options and I also find the entry level fabrics are higher quality.
