$44 in brokerage fees seems kinda high. What's the fee based on?

GST/PST + $10 UPS fee
Shiping to Canada is around $ 23 more so you basically pay $60 more than the americans

here's the break down. it was $32.91 GST, + 10.00 BROK FEE + 1.30 BROK GST = 44.21 based on a total value for duty $253.14.

Was tax applied to the purchase? Looks like 12% tax plus the $7 brokerage fee to me.

So is 69$ the best one can do for a reasonable 1155 mobo at the moment? Might save $5 on boxing week but not worth waiting imo.

Just going to get some low timing 1.5v 1600Mhz Mushkin ram, hoping to hit 4.2-4.4 on stock cooler.
Or, a solid Asus mITX 1155 for $85, http://ncix.com/products/?sku=75617&vpn ... cture=ASUS would be nice with a 660ti!
Would either of these boards have any problems reaching 4.4Ghz?

you should get at least a Z77 Motherboard in order to support Ivy bridge (3rd Gen) as the Asus mITX is Sandy bridge (2nd Gen CPU)... although it says it supports 3rd Gen, you might as well get an MB that is for the 3rd Gen Intel Processor...Aydn wrote: ↑So is 69$ the best one can do for a reasonable 1155 mobo at the moment? H77 and Z77 will both full support Ivy Bridge, though you will need Z77 to overclock.
If you're not overclocking, H77 boards can be had in/around $100 with all the features you'd conceivably need.
If you're thinking of ever doing Hackintosh, then Gigabyte is the logical choice. The Gigabyte H77-DS3H is right around $100, and should be a drop-in for Hackintosh.

Thanks.
A friend's also got a year old MSI H61 mATX 1155 for $30-40, which lists up to 3770k being supported with a bios update. Sure I will miss a few IVB features but CAN I overclock to 4.2 at least, or is that a it's a miracle if i'm stable at stock kind of board?
Edit: Found an MSI Z77(A) board for $69 at Ncix, can hit 4.68 on water for the 3770k, probably 4.4 on air. Best one can hope for in a budget Z77 board?

Not reshipping place but how about shipping it to http://www.cbiusa.com/ which ships to Niagara, NY if you plan on visiting Niagara Falls anytime soonDJDiggler wrote: ↑Has anyone used reship.com? They offer USPS reshiping into Canada and I got an estimate of only $5 to Edmonton, ab.
So it would work out to same cost as khulit for those of us with no amerifriend...
EDIT: @#$%% fine print, there is a $5 one time sign up charge and a $5 handling fee also. Any other reshipping places like this?

Deal 1 is better unless you really like the included mobo. Its a decent deal on the mobo but if you're overclocking, there are a few better choices (and the resale value of the mobo is pretty much equal to the price you pay anyways).
If you're crossing border yourself, then it might be worth it due to the chance of saving on tax (note i said chance, aka declare and hope you don't have to pay taxes which is generally the case for sub $500 day trips, ~1/20 chance you actually need to pay if you declare less than 500/person in my experience).

1. Create an account. You have to work at one of the approved retailers listed from the OP. Have your employment info ready. Try to fill in every field. I didn't have the employee number the first time and they never sent me a confirmation email when I was done registering. They will send you a confirmation email (might take a day or 2).
2. Verify your employment status. (email/fax paystub - has to be recent: 30 days)
3. Earn at least 10000 chips to become a producer in order to purchase the holiday deal.
