For a quick oil change I find these a pain. I use a sheet of cardboard instead.
For longer repairs these come in handy.

I bought the same creeper except orange from Harbor Freight in the US on sale for $18. Highly recommended, comfortable, cushion for your head and a tray for the tools. The carrying handle makes a good holder for hanging it on a wall with a nail.

Amazon boxes and/or crappy work clothes you don't care about work better (closer to the ground, less chance of having to to lift vehicle more) for free. At least in the summer when the ground isn't freezing cold... I refuse to work on the car in the winter either way lol.

Picked one up this morning at Mavis/Dundas location. 3 were left, now there's 2. Aisle 21 or 22 if I am not mistaken, and its on the right hand side.
