[Amazon.com] HOT!!! SanDisk Extreme 64GB USB3.0 Flash Drive - $31USD LIGHTNING DEAL!

HOT!!!! $30.99USD is the lowest this flash drive has ever been. Apparently this was being sold for $27.99USD during Black Friday. Amazon.com's usual sale price is $34.99USD and the regular is around $50USD. It's not as good as the Black Friday price, but it's the next best thing. My order came out to $37.77USD shipped. ACT FAST!!!!

Just to give people an idea, I copied about 60GB worth of movies onto my Sandisk Extreme flash drive a couple of weeks ago via USB3.0. The file copy took about 8-10 minutes.

Delivered via USPS, and no taxes or duty. The value is low enough to slip by. Keep in mind, I live in Alberta. We don't seem to get dinged as much as Easterners.

Usually duties are payed at the checkout for amazon. Its called import fees deposit i believe.

Cool. Never ordered off .com site. Can I just use my amazon.ca login? If yes, do I need to do anything special or change anything in my account info?

Not quite the cheapest, they were $27.99 for Cyber Monday, but still at $30.99 I'd say it's a good price. These drives are great, I get a little faster than advertised speeds with mine (255 read & 212 write in CrystalDiskMark). I don't know if this happens for everyone, but Amazon refunded a portion of the import fees deposit as well, so it ended up being a few bucks cheaper than I'd paid upfront as well.

That's correct if it's shipped through Amazon global the fees will already be pre paid by you at checkout.

If fees are less than what they actually paid they will refund you the difference.

You're correct, but the price for this particular drive is still quite a bit higher at Canadian retailers, for example it's $70 + shipping + taxes at NCIX: http://www.ncix.com/detail/sandisk-extr ... -93217.htm

No, although most credit cards charge a small percentage for currency conversion, I think usually around 2%

OP's info says he's in oil country, so assuming he's in Alberta he pays no provincial sales taxes whereas you probably do.
