[Tiger Direct] Crucial M4 256GB SSD $199 @ TigerDirect. Run!

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/ ... R1qwTMZPWQ

Amazing price on a fantastic, stable drive. My personal favorite for anything that isn't a Plextor M3 Pro.

Well under $1/GB and outperforms it's own 128GB sibling by quite a bit.

Order online, or PM at your fav store :)

Daaaaaamn.

I just bough a refurb 240GB Corsair GT SSD a week ago from NCIX.
Kinna wish I would've waited. Didn't expect the prices to jump below $200 this quick.

Edit:
After looking at benchmarks for this, I still am happy with my refurb Corsair GT for $15 more.

Dammit, OOS @ ME. If you PM BB or FS, you only save $2
Damn Forums! Don't need one, but bought one anyway. Going broke saving money...

Good value.

Hope it seems like a dumb purchase by next year; good insurance against more global supply chain disruptions.

Doubt I would notice the difference with the top model much - one bought (and OP thanked).
Domain name coupons, prices, OK registrars, loopholes - ask me anything about domains in this RFD Q&A thread.

Damn, that's a sick deal. Now trying to decide whether I should cancel my $109 128GB and hit up ME for the 256GB instead. I just ordered the 128GB last evening. Ugh.

Definitely must resist.. Got the vertex 3 the last few weeks on sale and I haven't even installed it yet... this is too tempting

Bought 1. Exactly the deal I have been waiting for on a top end / reliable SSD. Thanks OP.

Mine is on truck for delivery today.

If they had stock available online I would return and purchase the 256. Gonna check all day to see if they got stock in ;)

YW, and thanks. Actually the 256GB outperforms the 128GB version by a decent amount and yeah, after these price drops I fully expect one of these NAND makers to cause a flood or fire or two to jack-up prices.

Good find! BB/FS seem to be OOS online for the non-kit version of the drive, not sure if they sell it in store.

They ship via UPS. Is this coming from the states? I'd rather not get mangled by duties/taxes if it is...

I've been debating for a while whether-or-not to buy the Crucial M4 or the Mushkin Chronos Deluxe. The Chronos Deluxe has toggle nand, which provides top-tier SSD performance. On the other hand, Crucial has a great reputation for reliability and post-release support. Not sure which way I should go.

wow, how time has changed.
this is the exact price I paid for the 256GB Western Digital SSD from Newegg last year, super slow compares to the M4.
