FS is dead. Where to look for Samsung Washer & Dryer?

I have been keeping my eye on on this set of Samsung washer & dryer at FS and it would go on sale at $1299 sometimes.

http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/-/b ... e38a44en02

Now that FS is gone, can anyone else suggest a place where I can purchase this at a price that is closer to $1299. For whatever reason, BB and other places list this set at a higher price.

Home Depot when they have their 15-20% off sales. Their extended warranties are also less expensive than FS.

Try Billa's or Faulkner's. They almost always have the lowest prices.

Just figured out why the price is different. This is one instance where trickery comes to mind. Like I said, I have been following the price of this pair of Samsung washer and dryer for a few months. Most places have it listed at $1399 to $1499 and sale prices goes to $1299 at it's best (or so). BB website lists taxes will be deducted from the shopping cart at the end of the process. Turns out, the list price of $1629.98 IS the final price (with taxes). How is this saving taxes when they jack up the price from $1499 to $1629 and call it saving on taxes? Total scam in my opinion.

ok, just spoke with a very nice person from HD. They told me they don't price match from retailers across the country but then they also told me there is a Lowes in my area! Saw the link from @Drthorne but noticed our store does not have inventory.

I am hoping HD will still match the price. I see a 10% beat is that 10% of the difference or 10% of price for HD price beat?

I have liked Samsung products over the years. Since they became competitive in the LCD market, they have been coming out with some good products as far as reliability, well, as far as in the home theater realm. LG is a few years behind Samsung in my opinion and this Samsung pair is one of the pairs within my budget. I am almost ready to buy this online, hang tight. Do you have any opinion before I pull the trigger?

Crazy. I got very lucky while doing my research after opening this thread. There was a surprise 8 hour sale on Bestbuy.ca and the pair I wanted wen ton sale at 25% discount. Thought it was as glitch of some sort or it was only for users who added these items to the cart. Checked on another computer and there was indeed a 25% off on all major appliances. Purchased it the same night and it is now scheduled for delivery.

BB has a recycling program where $30 + tax they will take away an appliance. Their phone support also mentioned their delivery people will install the laundry and washer too. Has anyone had this done?

Nice read about that sales too but missed it! So how much was the total with that 25% sales?

I bought my stove/fridge from HD and they charged $20 to take away the old ones. I didn't pay the $20, posted on kijiji for cheap and got $180 instead of paying $20.
