Shure e2c is not that impressive anyway, e4c and up though...
If you want style I think the e4c and the new e500 (EXPENSIVE) are real good.

Shure Killers!! The V-MODA Vibe Earphones $129.99
i've seen such impressive reviews about this new product from V-Moda.

ALSO AVAILABLE INSTORE.....
check out the applestore link! it's priced as the Shure E2c.. and some say the E2c lacks bass.. I'm guessing the V-moda may have an advantage over style and sound?
what do you guys think of these new in ear earbuds..

Never heard of Vmoda... but shures are considered to be one of the best IEMs so I doubt these are better.
If you want to find out for real go to www.head-fi.org

These don't even go that deep.
If you want isolation and deep penetration, the Etymotic tri-flanges go 1-2 cm into your ear canal instead of sitting outside like these do.

I don't like any bud phones. I've yet to find one that worked well for me. I guess most peoples' ear canals are perfectly straight or something - mine aren't and the result is buds don't give me good bass sound unless they're twisted around the wrong way - if I can stand the discomfort of them pushing against my earholes. (Did I just say earhole??)

mmmm ordered from apple store <3
can't wait to try these out, ordered them in chrome, since apparently the gunmetal's cables are more prone to tangling (or microphonics?)
pity i didn't have a coupon or something ~_~ at $148.15 after tax, these cost a pretty penny for a non-"head-fi"-er like me

As bad fortunes would have it, I'm in the market for new ones since my second pair of SONY IEM's have started to crap out.
The biggest complaint about Sony's are the wires that get brittle and detach from its wires. These look a lot more sturdy and industrial (theme and construction wise). Might have to look at these a little more before I pull the trigger.
Count me in. My biggest concern is investing in headphones that are priced higher than the players themselves only to have them literally fall apart on you. A sure fire way is to get some classical style headphones but they just can't compete with the IEMs for bass and overal performance.Last edited by Emancipated; Jan 18th, 2007 at 07:54 AM.
