I had a pair...there was NO BASS whatsoever. For 100 bucks surely you can do better...does anyone know of any deals comparable (or even more expensive)?

Yes, thats a good point but I've heard it before and I don't think this is the case. I've tried ramming the things into my ears, putting into different earbuds. The bass is still weak, I think because it's just not there.
I've had 4 sets of earphones, cheap to expensive none of which required special attention.
I think the 210 are just the tweeter HALF of the dual driver drivers earbuds shure makes...

I got the Shure Noise Isolating Earphones for $129.99 at Best Buy a couple weeks back, because I couldn't find my iPhone headsets.
Yes, they are comfortable, and yes, they do make you only hear your music and nothing else. But I can't honestly justify spending almost $150 on a pair of earphones. I took them back as soon as I found my iphone headsets. I really feel bad for the person who buys the ones I took back...I worked out with them for about an hour and they got really sweaty.

Really great price, I was considering SE110 but since SE210 wasn't much more, I decided to spend a bit extra. I ordered a pair online but it does not give me the option to pick it up in store. Where do I find the option for pick up instead of delivery. o its also out of stock, I wonder how long it will take help
I rather save the shipping cost

Yeah in order to get the best sound out of the Shures (or any other IEM's) is to fit them into the ear snuggly such that it has a good seal. That's why they came with different cushion sizes and styles, and you really need to experiment quite a bit.
I own a pair of E4C's and after trying for a while I was able to find my "sweet spot" in regards to the earphones. I find wrapping the cord behind and over the ears helps tremdously.
I have read that Shures in general has weaker but very solid bass. Nothing like the booming bass that muddle the sound so much that prevents you from hearing the high end cleary (though I know that some people prefer that instead)._______________
You read it. You can't unread it.

FS and other electronic stores are supposed to return any earphones that go inside your ear back to manufacturer due to health and safety. That's why you don't see them sell earphones OB but headphones (the over ear types) you will see open box. Of course, not everyone follows rules as we are all familiar with here on RFD.

Picked them up last night on sale, great price! I've been rocking the Creative EP-630 for a while so I'm hoping these will be an improvement. I also picked up the noise cancelling Audio Technica's they had on sale - AWESOME headphones, super comfortable and great sound. I don't like overwhelming bass so they were perfect for me. All that booming just gives me a headache :P /old
