Orders placed through the Shutterfly app can only contain a maximum of 250 photos.
So, ordering through their website would be unlimited?

Looks like you're wrong. It's $22.91USD for shipping 250 photos. Just over 9c US each...

lol that looks like the shipping price for up to 99999 pictures... If you're still in the screen try 249 pictures.
Sucks the OP didn't bother pricing it out before posting :/

hmmm weird...I just priced it out for 77 random photos to Toronto and the cost is $9.07 USD for shipping. However, I do not see this price on their shipping chart

I think you may right here.

EDIT: figured it out. So the shipping cost is $1.79 for the 1st print and then $0.08 for each and every print after.

So for 249 prints, price works out to $21.63 or $0.12 ish per print. Not really a great deal IMO

I always find shipping over priced so free prints are not actually free.

It's a base cost plus an increment for each photo. From 2 to 250 photos it's 3.07$ + 0.08$ per photo (beyond 2). Clearly this is how they make their money :)

Check their conditions under line 11: "you grant us and our designees a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right.." Yeah, free photos at what price...Especially if you have some profi photos.. I would never use this page!

I tried ordering 141 pictures (just connected my IG and spammed the '+' button for multiple copies), and it came to $12.99 USD to ship.

=$15.92 CAD

$0.11 CAD per picture

I have no idea if that's a good price, but yea.

It's not a good price, you can get 10-12 cents at many stores in Canada like Costco without having to wait for shipping

Local shops charge tax.
Shipping from US under $20 pays no tax or import duty.
Not a big deal as far as tax is concerned - only stretching the argument in RFD spirit to seek lowest price! ;)

seems the more prints you place in the order the higher shipping would cost...at least that's the case for new customers free prints offer

isn't the cost $1.87 for first two and 0.08 for each subsequent up to 250? So at 250 it'd cost 248 * 0.08 + 1.87 = $21.71 USD. That works out to $26.76 CAD + 2% exchange = 10.92 cents per print. Not sure about taxes as I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Costco is 12 cents each + tax. Also the fractional cost is a savings too, a free pic every 100 or pics. If the fractional amount was lower (maybe you don't have 2% cc exchange it would be a free pic every 37 pics, 8 free prints in 250 order) it would be even more savings . So isn't this an ok deal?
