a simple question about airmiles
do I get airmiles if the purchase is less than $20?
What if I shop at a store(Dominion) several times per week?

No. Their AM policy says:
Earn 1 AIR MILES reward mile for every $20 in purchases.

Air Miles at Dominion are weekly
http://www.freshobsessed.com/faq/faq.aspx?param=faq -- Check the AIR MILES Reward Program section.
I believe it is up to the Air Miles sponsor whether it will be accumulated weekly, per purchase, or however they award the miles.

Another simple Airmiles question...
I apologize in advance for high jacking this thread...but starting a new one would be pointless.
I recently made a substantial purchase (for a party) at LCBO and for some odd reason left my Airmiles card at home. The kicker is that many of the products I purchased had 'bonus miles' promos on them.
Can I hold onto the receipt and collect my points next time I'm in one of their locations or am I out of luck?
Thanks!

You are out of luck because they scan your card and gave the points based on what is display/computer by the cash register. It is just like SDM optimum card if you fail to present your card on the time you buy u lose all your points on that purchased.

It was always my understanding that you do, but I've never actually used an Airmiles card so I haven't tested it out myself.

Actually, if you do call airmiles (not LCBO), the CSR can credit you based on your purchase if you huff and puff 'enuff

It does depend on the vendor. I know for a fact that Rexall keeps a tally of how much you've spent in the store in terms of rewarding your purchases with Air Miles. I know this because I had bought a $2.88 item and my receipt had stated that I had earned 1 Air Mile today (last time I shopped I only spent like 8 bucks, and got 0 air miles for my trouble).
Places like Shell don't though. It all depends on the vendor.

Actually with SDM optimum, if you go back to the same store where you purchased your products with your receipt and optimum card within 7 days of purchase, they can and will credit you your points...
Air Miles at LCBO though, I'm not sure....

Depends on the store.
Most stores are not cumulative. I know Sobeys Atlantic *IS* cumulative, weekly. That is, if you spend $7 one day and $8 the next, you will get your airmile.

Here's the Airmiles sponsor directory; just find the merchant in question and it'll confirm if they work on a cumulative or non-cumulative basis. (Weekly or monthly, etc...)

Yup, that's how Sobeys works.
