Simplicity Cat Litter 22KG $5.89($2 off) - COSTCO Yorktech
YMMV as I only saw one skid, it was near the bakery/auto section. Didn't bother to check the back lane where it usually is. I'm assuming this is going on at all locations.
Forgot to check how long the sale is going on for. If anyone gets a chance and/or finds it at other locations maybe you could post for the others.

It's a clumping litter.
Off the side of the box:
-100% Natural Clay
-Baking Soda & Odour Check
-Moisture ACtivated Herbal Botanical Essence
-Immediate Extra-strength Odour Control
-Harder, Faster Clumping
-99% dust free
-Safe for Cats and Kittens
ingredients: 100% natural clay, baking soda, natural scent and natural odour control system.
**it says 99% dust free, but when I fill my litter box there is quite a bit of dust that gets circulated up into the air. I would wear a dust mask, or cover your face with something unless you want to breathe in all the minute clay particles(which is probably healthy for you anyways but...)

Yeah I bought one box of this stuff, and I won't buy it again because of the dust. I can't believe the amount of dust this stuff gives off considering it claims to be 99% dust free.

I have to agree with you. I will never buy this again either because of the amount of dust. It also does not seal in any odor.

+1, too much dust with this litter. Gave my cat lots of sneezing/lung problems. The room I had this litter in would be filled with dust within a week or two. Definitely need a mask when using it. Switched to wood stove pellets and wouldn't look back.

I have used this product for 3 years now and it wasn't until the last 6 months that I noticed a huge increase in the amount of dust in the product.
Big disappointment because this use to be a huge deal for litter, but I might try alternatives.
What are other people using???
What type of wood pellets are you using? How's the order control clumping with this product?

Any recommendation for a product with less dust at a fair price?

It is on sale quite frequently and usually for two weeks at a time. The sign should indicate when the sale is over.
As for the dust, I really don't find it to be that big a problem. I pour it into a large bucket saved from when I used to buy litter that way, and I only notice the dust then. It does track all over though. I use covered litter boxes and I have litter all over the place but not dust.
Be careful when changing types/brands of litter as some cats can be very picky. I bought the pellets once that had a scent to them and my indoor cat didn't use the litter box for several days. I finally had to hold him down in it to get him to go. Although he is no longer with me, I still try not to make radical changes with the litter. Your best bet would be to mix the new in with the old and gradually make the change.

Really? I use stove pellets for our rabbit, but never thought about using them for the cats. How does it work in regards to clumping? Or do you just dump the whole thing once a week?

Thanks... I have been waiting for this.... they do go on sale sometimes, maybe twice a year..... I always buy about 8-10 boxes... last over a year.... save me $20.....
agree this is not the best litter in the world.... but for the price, nothing beats it..... i have used other brand of litters before.... way too expensive and not that much better....
