Last 6 aliexpress orders have been about 3 weeks for me with free shipping. They come in spurts it seems. Yesterday I got 4 packages. Last year around this time the china to canada shipping slowed down massively. Also the deals are mostly bs, it seems they raised the prices of everything abotu a week ago

Epacket has been 2 weeks for me into Toronto. I usually use that if it's under $5, otherwise it can take 2 months using free shipping.

Epacket took 1-2 weeks before... But my last Epacket shipment took 2 months...
ya maybe epacket used to take 1-2 weeks, but that's definitely not the case in my experience.
I've used it multiple times over the past few months and every time it took at least 22-28 days. I actually found it was basically identical in delivery time to China Registered Air Mail that a lot of the sellers provide for free.

Strangely though, a couple items I ordered mid-October have already arrived (shipped small packet plus), while I am still waiting on a couple orders from early October.

If thats the case, then the only real benefit for epacket is the fact that it still tracks via the Canadapost app. I ordered some batteries for an action cam and i got notification of when it shipped and that it had entered Canada, via the App

Some of the Mi phone prices seem a little bit inflated (probably on purpose)...

Anything worth picking up?

Wow, the annual 11.11 sale is here again! Just keep in mind the 3 key rules for this sale:

1. Everything that says it's discounted by a certain amount/percent isn't. They raised the regular prices a few days ago so they could offer a sale price.

2. The rare item that is a super-bargain will be snapped up by buyers in Asia long before you can manage to display the web page in Canada.

3. The remainder that looks too good to be true is pretty much guaranteed to be fraudulent.

But hey, good luck and have fun! :)

The Redmi Note 4 @ 136.99 $USD looks like a good deal, and I don't think the price is inflated? Will all colours be on sale? Would it be better to wait for a similar device on Black Friday (one of those Koodo or WOW deals, like the LG G5 @ 160 $CDN from a few months back)?
