No problems with retentions, offered 20% off, then 30%, then 50% off if I remember correctly. In any case, less than a 10 min. call.
Another question: If you radio dies, can you call up Sirius and get them to send you a replacement, with the threat :P of canceling/refund because you don't have a working radio to listen? Wife's radio is acting up, wondering if it's about to die...
Anyone know if the 1 yr for 1/2 price is still possible? How about the 5 months for $20 deal?
I called last week and the lady on the phone couldn't care if I cancelled or not. I even went as far as to ask how much if I renewed my plan and activated a 2nd car radio and she gave me the standard $9.99 for the 2nd radio.

A quick update. The lady gave me the 1 yr plan for $89.99 + taxes and I was able to get $68 for 1 yr for my wife's car. All of that in less than 5 minutes.
My mistake was selecting option "3 - Existing Account Holder" option when I called in the first time. Go for Option 5 - Cancellation dept and speak to the customer retention dept.

Me too!
I called Sirius with a head of steam (not that I had a right to) - spoke to some chump whose best offer was $115 for the first radio, then $119 (!) for the second... Told him no thanks, then took a deep breath... When I called a second time, I got a maritimer - she gave me $95 for the first, $68 for the second, too! The first time, I went to "new" subsciption (option 1), and told him I was trying to STOP leaching off a friend's account - didn't buy it - second call, I went to "cancellation" too (opt 5), and ended up with my savior!

+1
Same issue for me. Option 5 got me $89 or 12 months for the price of 6.
