Going to try this with a pre-paid credit card. If not, I'll do the 6/30 deal.

Would this allow you to stream in your car as well as via the app? or just in car?

Select plans, no streaming allowed. It's only in vehicle service only.

Thanks op. Just as a heads up the link takes you to the US site. You will need to contact the Canadian side but they honor the same price. 1877 438 9677

It comes to $77 for the year after taxes and fees.

I paid 100$ for a full year about a week ago. Do you think I can get a refund of the difference?

i find XM the easiest company the haggle with. At this point I just tell them to offer me the best deal possible because they know full well no one is paying full price for their service. And they better throw in online streaming as well. And usually I get around 30-40$ for 6 months with online listening.

Yah, just call and say you want to cancel, and they should offer you a discount at that point

They are easy to haggle with, but I've found that adding in online streaming is something they don't do. I even went to far as to fully cancel because unless they included it, and wen 4 months without Sirius because of that. They wouldn't budge on that.

My free 1 year subscription ends Dec 23. I wonder if I can sign up some time from Dec 24-Dec 31 and still get this deal. Has anyone tied that?

I would try a few days before expiry. This has worked for me in the past. And agree with above posters, very easy to get deals from these guys.

FWIW:

They wouldn't honour the US deal for me, but I didn't push.

Wound up paying $100 for a year, the same amount as last year.

Not very RFDish of me, I know, but I use the service every day, and it's definitely worth the 10 bucks a month.

Thanks, activated my car radio for another 12 months on a siriusxm.com account after letting my siriusxm.ca account lapse/cancel a few months ago. Already get online streaming through my other siriusxm.com account (I pay for my dad's radio and streaming for me.)
I've got a pretty good friend who's seen me at my worst.
He don't care if I'm a blessing or a curse,
But he always shows up when the chips are down.
That's the kind of friend I like to be around.
