Had 2 radios to renew. One had internet. Best offer was the $99/yr plus taxes which comes out to $129. Plus the online sub was going to be extra. Said I would take one sub only (wife would kill me if I cut off her radio). "Please hold while I put it through on your CC sir". Comes back and says...she has been authorized to include the internet sub for free if I renew the other radio at $99. Agreed and said we would talk again next year .

Took some fighting but also got the same offer today. She was REALLY pushing hard on the $88 (before taxes) deal before she finally put me on hold. I asked 3 times for the same offer I was on before ($30 6 months). After taxes came to $40 for 6 months

Just called to renew my Select 6 months package and just said that I want to renew the same package at the same price. The CSR offered me $48 instead of the $38 (all including tax) that I was paying. I said I know it's only a $10 difference but I'd like to get the same price. She put me on hold and came back and matched the $38. So no promo code needed and no threatening to cancel, just 5 minutes on the phone.

My 6 months for $30 deal for my car is coming to an end at the end of the month. I just wanted to know if there are any deals available. This is for my Folks car and they don't have a smartphone or a data plan so streaming audio is not possible.
Thanks
Thanks

Give them a phone call and tell them your 6 month offer is coming to an end and you can't afford full price. As Tha_Doggg said above, they'll offer you an annual plan for about $100. The only gotcha is that you have to call them a day or two before it renews in 2020 to request the discount again.
It's a stupid game.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I will keep this in mind. This reminds me of the game I have to play with Rogers to get better deals for home internet/cable TV.

I call them every time it is about to expire. A little dearer than the above. $126 with tax and that included about 20 days left.

My 6 months of All Access (EVERY channel plus streaming plus their new 100 extra streaming channels) was ending ($50/ 6 months) and I called in to ask about another promotion or to cancel.
Immediately was offered the same again; All Access for $50/6 months. I asked if there was a way to make that 1 year and was told the price would be $150 for the year.
So decided to keep it at 6 months and just call in again.

I just did my 6 month renewal. Select service, no streaming.
6 months ago I did not get any satisfaction and ended up canceling my service. Within 2 weeks I received an offer in the mail (snail mail) with a 6 month renewal offer for $30 + fees and taxes. Of course I took that. Code was SAVE20M I think.
A few weeks later my other vehicle (separate account) was expiring and I called. They offered the usual 6 months for $36 + fees and taxes. I told the agent I knew someone who canceled and got the $30 offer within 2 weeks. They then gave me the $30 on that account also.
Today, the best I could get (without canceling) was $36 + fees and taxes for 6 months. And they do credit you for anything remaining from today up to your previous end date. New end date is 6 months from today. I did not get any reasonable 12 month offers. Lowest was $100+.
I mentioned what happened 6 months ago but she didn't bite to match that offer and I didn't push.
