I just got offered a deal from the manager at Sportchek on a package for skis, and I just want some advice to see if this is a good deal or not.

Skis: Atomic R:9 $200 (down from "$500") - may be last year's model, or the year before that.
Boots: Solomon Verse 4.99 $130 (down from "$180") - a model from a few years ago
Bindings: Tyrolia LD12 $110 (down from "$130")
Free installation

Anyway, I actually purchased them already - but I can return them if they aren't actually a good deal. I had only the manager's word to go on in regards to the performance/value of the ski/boots/bindings. I've been a rec skier for a while, but I'm a newbie when it comes to actually buying skis.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
