Small business closure, how can I close the CRA account?

Small business closure, how can I close the CRA account?

We have closed our business in Ontario, and get the statement of closure from the Ontario Provincial government.

However, today, I still received the account statement from CRA mail. Although it didn't ask us to send any money. I am wondering do I need to close the CRA account explicitly after the business closure?

Thanks a lot. The attached is what we received, does that imply we didn't close our business number?

The title of the letter correspondence is
Statement of account for current source deductions
blah blah
blah blah
Remittance account balance, 2017 account balance: $0.00

That does not mean anything. It seems to be like your account statement balance. You have to fill out the form as mentioned in the link to close your business account and also file the final returns. Once you have successfully closed the account, you will get a confirmation from the CRA that account has been closed.
