Smartphone recommendations for my aunt (budget $200-300) must work in China
I feel like i'm clogging up this forum every time I post a new thread. :P
Well my aunt, who currently resides in China right now, wants me to help her choose a phone from Canada that can be used there. I just can't think of any smartphones within the $200-300 price range that is BNIB. I'd love to recommend the nexus 4, but as we all know, those are sold out.
So what smarthphone between $200-300 would you recommend to my aunt that will work on phone networks in China?
Btw, I need to buy this before the weekend.
Many thanks!

Why not buy in china since she currently resides there? So much selection there from budget androids to high end.

Canada is literally the worst place to get a phone for someone in another country.

No, you're not entitled to your own opinion, you're only entitled to what you can argue for.
Otherwise, don't start.

Why not buy a Xiaomi M2 or an Oppo finder over there? They're both good.

All of you make very valid points. Phones are expensive and outdated in Canada.
Thanks for the help!
