The Canada Extra piece.
I am looking for a single stage.
See the Craftsman Pro 900 series engine/Canadiana 900 (Lowes) and a Craftman 800 series engine?
The pro is reduce from 799 to 699 and the 800 is 549.
What is the big difference in those engine? Thank you
Does anyone know when snow blowers usually start going on clearance at Canadian Tire?
i would think middle of feb for clearance at can tire as im trying to remember last year but i never needed one then but hoping to grab one this year
Just found this beefy boy $250 off at Costco:
Hmmmm looked on the sears.ca site and I see no more regular single/double stage blowers. I only see several in the clearance outlet section. And not much of a clearance at that either (approx $100 off).
For those looking for the big deal !
I hope i don't get flamed for not in the right thread. But I need help with my blower!
Guys, my blower won't start. I tried cranking it so many times and still won't start. I just heard a loud bang from the motor everytime I cranked hard. What should I do, please help?
For those with older machines with starting or running problems, try replacing the carburetor. Very expensive here in Canada but check out Amazon.com for your make / model. A google search will help find the part no. Sears.com has great part diagrams. They are very easy to change if your handy. Lot's of videos on youtube.
My 5 HP Tecumseh carb was $137. new in a local shop in Winnipeg. Amazon had it for $23 with free delivery to border. Second season with it and it starts second pull every time. Thought I would share.
the toro 621qze from the home depot hammer dropped finally arrived via ups, i know people say home depot can be slow, but it was less than a week to the gta after placing order
anyway, i'm putting oil in this thing and the manual says to pour it in the standard operating position, i don't see how thats possible, i had to tip it forward to pour it in
quick question for anyone that has changed the oil on these, it says to drain the oil you have to tip it back to get at the drain plug, it also says you should empty the gas tank before draining oil, do you really have to do this?
also manual says change oil after operating for 2 hours, is that what people are doing, would anyone recommend doing it faster than that? i'm guessing 2 hours would take me through the winter
also i'm using ethanol free shell gas, should i still use a stabilizer? i see sea foam being mentioned, where can i buy this?
Cub Cadet 24" is on at Lowes for $850 until Jan 8th. HD has it online for $1098, so PM would drop it to approx. $765.....good deal on well rated machine?
Has anyone used the Toro 621 for the EOD in Ottawa? I am leaning toward picking it up (hopefully it comes on hammer drop again) but would like to make sure it can handle EOD here.
