To be honest, I wasn't offended by your initial post, but was just curious as to why you mentioned that I am not ready as per my signature. I assumed it couldn't have been based on what cellphones/tablets I have owned/currently owned. So I thought it was the first one.

To answer your question - no I am not fourty as per some character created in your imagination and I am not in a rush. I am 26 and I/we think its ready. She is 25. I also just finished law school and ended up a job with a firm, so for financial aspects, I am good. So there's no regrets here.



Agreed and thanks! We don't intend on having a majorly expensive wedding. Usually in our tradition, the bride's side is the one who spends for everything in the wedding, but I have decided to make this a half and half. Meaning, we both spend the equal amount for all wedding expenditures. As for guests, its close relatives and friends on both sides.



Thanks man. Means a lot. As for the ring, we stopped by People's one day last year in May whilst window shopping and she laid her eyes on one specific ring, which is the one I will get. I did ask her parents' permission first and they have given me the green signal to do so.

Going forward, she has finished her medical residency so, she will be working come April and I have landed a job at a law firm, so we are financially okay for now, but after it picks up, it will get better. Definitely not going to buy a house right away of course and as for a car, I currently have one which I will be using it for quiet some more time. I have had it since 2009.

Will be staying at the Ermitage Du Lac, which is surprisingly also where we met in the concierge area, and that is where I will propose to her.

Yes we and I am sure I do want to get married, have thought about it for the past couple of months. Nope, no pressure from my inlaws and they are really nice.
