So I purchased a Domain and I want to use Flash to Show my photo's online...

Now I'm stuck...

I registered a small business package from www.1and1.com and grabbed a domain.

I don't like the basic Photo Gallery page from their site creator.

How else can I host my photo's in flash?

Thanks,
H.

Do you have Adobe Photoshop? You can make a Flash web gallery using that program. Just open Photoshop and then click FILE -> AUTOMATE -> WEB PHOTO GALLERY.

I have Lightroom 2 and Dreamweaver, but can't get the actual page to show up after I FTP it....

I thought as long as I had a index.html, it would show that...

Visit JAlbum.net

They are free and they have many different templates. Easy to use drag and drop software. Highly recommended.

I'm an idiot in websites and don't know anything when it comes to HTML/FLASH/Blah blah blah but I got my gallery on simpleviwer.

http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/

or their other products

I tried tiltviewer after I fixed my site and it worked.

If you select your photos you want to use on your website in Lightroom's "Library" you can then click "Web" and find the correct template for a FLASH website. From there it should generate all the folders and embeds the flash directly into the HTML and you just upload the folders along with the "index.html" file and you should be good to go!

Like another poster said, JAlbum.

It's free and it's sweet. Lots and lots of skins, easy to use, it's been around for years and gets better all time.

Check it out: http://jalbum.net/

Wow, I'm amazed at JAlbum. What a great product, and so easy to use.

A+++ in my books.

Lightroom is also good, I'm sure I'm going to be using both.

Picasa makes it simple too, using templates like simpleviewer and tiltviewer you can upload directly to your site.
