So stupid people bashing on Z5500 speakers

This is gonna be a little bit of a rant but honestly a much deserved rant nonetheless. I own this speaker set and by far they are the sweetest pair computer speakers ever.

Now here's the problem I have. Some dumb people on another forum were trying to flame bait me into an arguement over my logitechs vs. custom speakers/receiver/sub. Now don't get me wrong I did my due diligence when it comes to researching and found the logitechs are waaaaaay better than custom speaker system. This guy said his Klipsh speakers were better than my logitechs and so I called him out on it. The stupid thing is everyone is argreeing with him on the issue.

My logitechs are so nice. I even spent $400 on them brand new a couple years ago. The bass is unmatched to any other subwoofer in its size. The speakers are so crisp and for movies, games and music its perfect. So I don't get where these other people can say that my logitechs are inferior. This isn't so much an ego battle so much as proving him and the haters wrong.
I'm really frustrated and usually don't get this mad over the internet.

Honestly bro, stop wasting your time and quit trying to raise your ego. No one cares what other peoples opinions are. If you get into a dumb argument like that, you don't have much things in your life to do do you?

well I have no idea which speakers are better but do you have any solid proof that your speakers are indeed better, or are you just using personal judgment?

I think that in the battle of Logitech versus Klipsch it is up to personal taste.

I personally think that the Logitech speakers sound better. I've listened to a Klipsch Ultra 5.1 several times and I definitely prefer my Z-5500 set. It's true that the Klipsch system offers greater midrange sound, but the treble sounded muffled and the subwoofer was not really thunderous unless you turned them up.

I received a similar impression when comparing the Klipsch ProMedia THX 2.1 set against the Logitech Z-2300. I have both of these systems at home and again I prefer the Logitech. The bass was a little too boomy on the Logitech set but the Klipsch set sounded plain muffled.

Now...as for complaining that X amount of people agree with me and Y amount of people disagree...I think that is irrelevant. At the end of the day, every person's wallet will do the talking and it really won't matter how many people agree with your choice because it's your money.

with just one 12inch sub of mine.. i have the biggest e-peeeenn in this thread alone... not counting the other various speakers i have... i don't want my e-peeen going out of our solar system

the speakers he's talking about are the BEST for the $ (if you get them sub $299). I have them connected to my LCD tv opticaly so I get my wii, dvd player & rogers HD sound thru it all in dolby & I use my set strictly in dolby theater mode. Compared to the thought of having to spend $600+ on a decent home theater setup for my small living area for entetaining (20'x20') they give me what I want & need.

That being said I am shure a nice set of 2 way or 3 way speakers on the channels with the default sub & controler as it may give them abit more definition, BUT that would cost how much more & for it ya might as well then go dedicated home theater reciever & such.

link to forum ...if what you described is correct an amp/sub/(speakers bookshelfs or floorstanders) will in fact sound better
