Softball SloPitch
Can anyone recommend a good bat for softball? Joining workplace tournament and looking for a decent bat to start with.
How do I pick the size?
Anything else I should look out for?

What is your budget? I think National Sports still has the Worth Revolver on sale for $70; the regular price is $169.99. It has shown good pop so far as we're still breaking a new one in on my team.

The vast majority of adult softball bats are 34 inches in length, so the "size" variation is usually just weight. It's something you really have test out for yourself, and each bat will feel different depending on how balanced or how end-loaded it is. If you want a number, I'd the say the typical bat weight tends to be around 27 or 28oz for optimal bat speed with the heaviest bat possible.

lets just say you'll get what you pay for. If your budget is $70-$80 I'd recommend a cheap Worth EST or, in my opinion, the best bang for your buck aluminum bat - the TPS Gold. Should be able to get one at that price.

i also endorse ggs - solid bats and they are well below retail, so you can pick up something much nicer then a revolver for slightly more.
