Software to Give Vocal Command to PC

hi!
I'm wondering if there is such a windows software, that I can plus a MIC and give orders to the PC to start some programs and such, I know they alredy do that in game (eg: star wars) but is there such a peice of software for windows ??
I try looking about and i could find a prgram that MUST use a remote, but what i really want is to use a MIC

If anyone know the name of such a program or where to buy one, plz point me to it ^_^

also try going on www.download.com and type in voice recognition and see if there are any trials

i tried using voice recognition stuff before and i don't like it much..because you have to "train" it..and i feel its just better if i took the time to do it myself

i looked at Dragon NaturallySpeaking b4 but its only for text, i want somthing that can start playlists in winamp and stuff

not sure about this, but Text to Speech can be done with MS Agent. Maybe you could manipulate it to work for speech to command to text?

if u only want browser commands u can use Opera. it has voice commands but u have to pay for that program.

its because its not for text, its to open aplication and stuff, really what i want to do is be able to control some parts of windows by voice, like opening programs and loading playlists and stuff...
