sold
Paid Silent_Storm $120 for this who advertized it as perfect working condition 9/10. Ripped me off it has a dead pixel and waves of light/lines that moves verticaly from the screen which is not noticeable on the first look. You can see it very clearly on boot where there is black background.
Dishonest and tricky!!! Cuts my PMs and phone calls, BEWARE!!!

Leave feedback for him on heatware and link this thread to his current threads (if any). Good luck with the sale, its a good price for a 15 incher. Might help if you post pics of exactly what the problem is.

Silent_Storm removed me from receiving PMs as of today, and phone calls are being ignored. There is no hope for resolution here thats why I relisted it to sell for less. I met him in the back door of his building so I cant even knock on his door nor know his buzz#.
I wanted a perfectly working LCD as a gift to my sister whos been requesting for it.
LCD is functional but you have to see the flaw for yourself cause a pic would not capture it. Dead pixel is at the right corner which is realy not a problem to me if it was indicated upon purchase.Last edited by NES; Dec 17th, 2005 at 01:06 PM.

We have a viewsonic VA520 15". It does the same thing, BUT only on bootup when Windows is NOT loaded. As soon as you load Windows, it works beautifully. So if these waves are the same as for us, then you will not notice them at all. We've been using it for years and it is a wonderful monitor.Ripped me off its has a dead pixel and waves of light/lines that moves verticaly from the screen which is not noticeable on the first look. You can see it very clearly on boot where there is black background.
As far as the dead pixel goes, one dead pixel would make it a waste for me. They irritate the hell out of me.

Dec 17th, 2005 04:59 PM #14LOL! I would love to do that....but dont want the hassle, I have enough stress of my own. Its only money and its not like I lost my house or something, but just feels realy bad that someone played you as a fool. I dont want it to happen to someone else.
