SOLD FS: Brand New Dell Latitude D520 Dual Core laptop. Price Drop!!!
Sold.
Price Drop. 1150CAD shipped -> 1050CAD shipped -> 975CAD shipped
Hello.
Up for sale is a Dell Latitude D520 laptop; it's a business type laptop which means it's built to last. The laptop is in brand new condition, I opened the box to inspect the content and take pictures but the laptop was not booted, not even removed from it's protective bag. Intact 1 year Next Day Onside warranty from Dell is included.
I bought the laptop 3 weeks ago from Dell.ca (edit: during a Dell.ca price error) for my wife's soon to start masters degree. 2 days after buying it, while it was still in transit, I won
an ultra-portable Asus laptop that fits here better. So the Dell has to go.
Same Dell configured on Dell.ca comes to 1450$. The shipping alone is 125$ (Dell policy for business laptops/computers and the reason why next time I'll look at Lenovo). My price is 975CAD and includes shipping (I do ship fast and I do pack to ensure save transit up to Madagascar!).
Payment can be through EMT (I love it), PayPal, personal checks (will take 2+3 extra days until it the checks clears out) or any of your prefered methods.
Included is everything that came in the box: the laptop, 6-cell Li-Ion battery, software CD's, Dell software, A/C adapter, User's Manual. A great thing about the included software is the fact that the you get the full media CD for Windows XP Professional w/SP2.
About the laptop configuration:

My highlights are:
* Latitude model - built to last, better support (1 year Next Business Day Onsite Service!!), etc, etc.
* Core Duo processor - the latest and greatest in current processors for laptops, desktops or even servers. Best performance/watt! Best battery life!
* 7200rpm S-ATA hard-drive - the fastest hard-drive possible in a laptop. Along with the Dual Core CPU will ensure the best multitasking environment possible.
* Windows XP Professional w/ SP2 - the best operating system for professionals and home users. The installation CD's are included, something not very common on most other laptops. Also, this laptop is Microsoft Vista ready!
* Free shipping, all taxes included!
If you want to check it out before buying it, Windsor is my town; if you are serious I could drive up to London in an afternoon...
Summary without the bla-bla:

Yes, the laptop was bought during the Dell glitch but the final price was much bigger than you are suggesting.
Specs are fixed and cannot change them but the price is OBO. So if anybody needs these specs, please make an offer and I will answer it.

Location for pickup? Willing to trade?
Hey pal, are you willing to trade for this? I got an 24" LCD monitor (Acer AL2416W) and a little money to put towards a notebook. Are you anywhere in the vicinity of Montreal, Qc?
Cheers,
Smi
